If you need help finding your bra size, click  the link below here and check this out.

http://www.butterflycollection.ca/skype-bra-fittings/

This has been the most empowering thing I have done for myself in awhile, and anyone can do it just like me. I just wanted to say if you need any help with your bra at all, or bra questions, especially if you are bigger busted, check Butterfly Collections skype fitting out.

What makes this so special? You can get fitted at home, and the person doing the fittings is extremely helpful. I have been to Intimacy before, and Victorias Secrets as well as a few other places, and byfar this experience blew me out of the water in a wonderful way. Claire is extremely knowledgable and I would recommend her to anyone.

This skype fitting would get a five out of five star review from me. Claire was helpful, nice, and she answered all my questions. She was not pushy at all to sell things (I felt no pressure to buy anything), but I would highly recommend her, and look foreward to making a few purchases to support The Butterfly Collection. The skype fitting ensures you are doing your measurements correctly, as well as helps you with any questions you may have about bras. I asked several diffrent questions, and each answer was good. There was no "I dont know", or anything like that. Clearly, its not scripted.  Bottem line- If you have any bra problems, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Take it from me, I wish I would have done this sooner. Your boobs and body will thank you for getting a proper fitting!

iPhone Bra App Reviews

Alright, these are the apps I have purchased before, and am doing a review of them. I will also include the links so that if you are interested, you can purchase them.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bra-fitter/id336858624?mt=8

1.) It costs two dollars but gives you alternative sizes, and suggestions.  This has got to be my favorite app, byfar, because it has 4 diffrent settings -percision, which offers a chart of sizes that may fit, as well as their best guess, intuition which offers their guess and closest sizes, and description, which writes it out in text. You can also post your size on faceook, and they offer bras in your size *possibly, I havent seen any for me but the size recommended is not typically available in the US.

Rating 4 out of 5. Nice to see suggestions, and ability to post bra size on facebook is interesting.

2.)There is a Natori Bra Finder app which comes close, and if im not mistaken its free, but doesnt offer diffrent sizes. This actually recommended a 34DDD, and I know that cant be right because I wear a 34C, 34D doesnt fit as well.

Rating: 2 out of 5. I dont think the sizing is accurate but thats a fair rough guesstimate.

3.)The third app which costs .99 cents is not too bad as well but the top app is my favorite. This one gives you instructions via video how to measure, and is more accurate than the Natori one. This recommended I am a 30DDD or F, but I would have to check this out to see if its right.

Rating: 3 out of 5. I liked how they explained the bra fitting in video, although I would hate for the app to go off in public, that would be embarassing. I wish they had alternatives though.

Summary- The first app, which costs about two dollars, was byfar my favorite, and I would argue the best. The third one was great too, but I prefer the first one.

These are app screenshots. Let me know what you think if you have one or purchase one of these.

Victoria's Secrets Bra Fitting Review

This may not be a fair review because it was a few years ago, but I will go ahead anyway since I know they have stuck to the same methods *add several inches to your underbust measurement to get your band size*.

I was fitted for the first time ever, and they were nice to me however they had one fatal flaw-They put me in a 36A.I also noticed they barely grazed me with the tape measure, which probably lead to a fatally inaccurate reading.

Now just to clarify- I am at the very least a C cup, and tried to tell them this but they told me basically to try 34B if that doesnt work.

Thankfully, later, intimacy fitted me in a 34C or 32D, and I have come to find out how wrong they were.

The result of this bad fitting- Several days of wearing the too tight 36A or 34B bras lead to constant back pain, among other things. I contacted the company about the problem, and instead of saying "Get re-fitted professionally" or at least "Get re-fitted", they told me the bra was defective, and I could swap it out for a new one.

Now don't get me wrong, that was nice, however the problem wasn't the bras, it was the sizing.

If you go to V.S., don't be surprised if you are wearing the wrong size. Also, please don't get your daughters fit there, if you want to do it for yourself and are lucky enough not to have problems great, but she may not be.

I wont return there again after hearing some horror stories about certain chemicals in bras, and also their extremely bad advice. Their customer service was nice but they know so little about fitting, I dont think they should be giving any sizing advice. The problem that seems to occur most frequently is they put everyone in a way too large of band size.

Also, one thing that gives me a headache is their commercials, they sell but their models look thin, and all at least D cups. It looks like they all have implants, and are marketing unhappiness, rather than promoting women's bodies.

So that's my review of Victoria's Secrets-They are nice people but know nothing about bra sizes, or fitting them properly. Their commercials depict unattainable standards of the female body. If I am feeling up to it, I may return there, although needless to say I am a little concerned it will be a repeat of last time.

Introduction

Hello everyone.

This blog originally started out as a small blog about just bras, and I have decided to expand it to offer more variety for my readers. Typically what you will see are bra and book reviews, as well as more fun, quirky things thrown in.

Bras are important to me because:

-The main reason is because I am an odd size *Bigger bust, smaller band* Most retailers do not offer it *Try finding a bigger cup size with a smaller band size, its difficult.

-Also, I was never given any parental help/education with bras, so everything I learned *good and bad* was own.

This is a GBLTQ friendly blog, so everyone is welcome to post/comment, so long as they arent offensive/rude for no reason.
